The Montreal West Civic Recreation Association is a non profit organisation governed by a board of parent volunteers from within our community. We offer a wide variety of sports and activities to the youth of Montreal West and its surrounding communities of Notre-Dame-de-Grace, Hampstead, Cote Saint-luc and Lachine .

We encourage the love of sport through enthusiastic coaches as well as parent volunteers. We welcome players from beginner to more advanced levels of skill.

Some of the activities we offer are single letter hockey, outdoor and indoor soccer, rugby, gymnastics, judo, Sportball, micro soccer, Intercommunity baseball, T-ball, Intro to Baseball, basketball and many more.

Steve Morissette
President

Steve is a veteran of 22 years in the SPVM, I am a sergeant at station 9, which covers Montreal-West.

He moved to Montreal-West in 2012 and quickly became and active volunteer in the community. Having earned a black belt in Judo, Steve offered to organize and teach an "Introduction to Judo" program with the CRA, and it since grew to be a project very dear to him.

This also allowed Steve to work closey with the VCRA and eventually join as a board member. It also brought me to get involved in the CRA, and I am very humbled to be the president since last year.
